Upcoming Games in January/February 2019 - Part 3 - Trials Rising

Trials Rising is the next instalment in Ubisoft’s unique biker platformer series and is set to be published on the 26th of February on the PS4, XBOX, PC and Nintendo Switch.

The Trials series has always been notoriously difficult, having to jump off the most awkward of objects and maintain your balance without crashing head first into the unforgiving floor and Trials Rising will be no different. Its predecessor, Trials Fusion, focused more on a futuristic, neon environment whilst Trials Rising will concentrate much more on taking the player on a journey through the most picturesque and exotic track environments in the world.

As always the set pieces will be ludicrous and bicycle physics will be realistic and unforgiving, making the game extremely difficult to master but brilliant fun in the process. For any fans of the old beloved Nintendo game Excite-bike, Trials Rising is a very similar premise but has its own unique and charming qualities that make it a truly individual game. 

Following the format of Trials Fusion, Rising will have many game modes and many challenges to surpass which will definitely make sure that you invest a substantial amount of time into the game. With more tracks than ever before, competitions across several continents and a fresh visual look, Trials Rising is set to be a great improvement on what is already a fine franchise. Being on the Switch as well, we have the opportunity to play the game on the go which is a very beneficial factor.
