Injustice 2: Legendary Edition and Content
Shortly after the release of Injustice 2’s final DLC characters, fans were anticipating whether more was to come for the nearly one year old DC Comics fighter game. It has since been confirmed that the developers at NetherRealm have completed the making of the ‘Legendary Edition’, a version very unlike the original game.
Firstly, the game will feature all of its downloadable content since the game’s launch on 19th May 2017; along with the game’s main roster of fighters (including fan-favourites Batman, Superman, Flash, and Harley Quinn). There will also be ten additional characters: the big, bad Darkseid, Batman’s second protégé, Red Hood;Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero, alien princess, Starfire; Aquaman’s nemesis, Black Manta; the thunder god, Raiden; Dark Horse Comics’ Hellboy, tiny hero, Atom; Suicide Squad’s Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Character premier skins will also be included which can change a character’s appearance, dialogue and voice. These include: Power Girl (for Supergirl), Reverse-Flash (for Flash), Grid (for Cyborg), Green Lantern John Stewart (for Green Lantern Hal Jordan) and Black Lightning (for Raiden).
Furthermore, the game comes with an all-new enhanced tutorial, new gear for everyone in the roster and an increased level cap of 30. Those who pre-order the game will also receive a Steelcase and an exclusive comic.
Injustice 2: Legendary Edition will be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 30th March 2018.
