The 90th annual Oscars is coming ever so slightly nearer. This year it is to be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. The big question is, what can we expect this year? Will there be another misunderstanding? Will there be less drama? We could not predict with certainty, but what we can predict is who may win in their category.
Best Director
This award is presented to the director who makes sure everything on set is perfect. There must be no wrong details that catches their sight. Usually, the director that has the most unique eye wins this prize! The nominees are:

- Jordan Peele – Get Out
- Greta Gerwig – Lady Bird
- Paul Thomas Anderson – Phantom Thread
- Guillermo del Toro – The Shape of Water

Best Supporting Actor
What is a protagonist without a partner? Whether it be a good friend, associate or even a boyfriend, you always have to have one. Here are the nominees:

Finally, the award we have all been waiting for. We must all remember that last year there was a slight misunderstanding with who won this award: between La La Land or Moonlight. This year, we have the same presenters so could we see a repeat of last time? The nominees are:
